Vignette April Tsukinose (月乃瀬・ヴィネット・エイプリル Tsukinose Vinetto Eipuriru?) or Vigne (ヴィーネ Vīne?) for short, is the deuteragonist of the series. The complete opposite of Gabriel, she is very responsible and often has to look after Gabriel, who lives in the same building as her, contrary to her actual role as a demon.
Appearance[]
Vigne is a teenage girl with average height. She has short purple hair with two 'X' clips. She has purple eyes and wears a standard school uniform with no personalized variations.
Personality[]
Vigne is known as the most orderly and responsible member of the group. She is kind, friendly, polite, helpful, and diligent. She often takes the role of the eldest sister of the group, with Raphi assisting her more than Gabriel or Satania. Because of her behavior, Vigne is the opposite of Gabriel and is sometimes called a Fallen Demon. Many people mistake her for an angel rather than a demon.
Vigne has a calm and mature nature, which makes her fit to act as the group's leader. Although Gabriel is the one who brings the group together, Vigne is the one who keeps them united and prevents trouble that could cause conflict.
Vigne is disciplined; she keeps her room clean and elegant, and she often cleans Gabriel's room as well. She is also considerate, as she is usually the one who invites Satania to join group activities. Like the others, Vigne is loyal to her friends.
However, Vigne also has flaws. She becomes temperamental when pushed too far, although she shows strong patience when dealing with Gabriel and Satania. When she reaches her limit, she uses intimidation and strict punishment to restore order. In one instance, she even uses her demon form to stop Gabriel and Satania from disrupting their Christmas celebration.
Vigne is also strict about not being treated as a toys. For example, when Satania calls her a slave or follower, Vigne responds by refusing to give her the clothes she needs. While she has negative traits, they are outweighed by her positive qualities, and she often acts as the most grounded member of the group.
Relationships[]
- Gabriel: Gabriel is the first person Vigne meets and the first friend she makes in the human world. At first, Vigne admires her and says that Gabriel is cute like a doll. Vigne is also the only one who knows about Gabriel's change from the angel she admired to the troublemaker she later becomes. Vigne often loses her patience with Gabriel's behavior and tells her to return to her former angelic state. However, Vigne is surprised when Gabriel points out that Vigne is not very demonic herself. Even so, Vigne continues to view Gabriel as her best friend.
- Raphi: Because of Raphi's angelic nature, Vigne and Raphi become friends quickly. Vigne finds her company easy to enjoy because Raphi is more steady and mature than Gabriel. When Raphi shows her "Dark Angel" behavior, Vigne becomes afraid of her, which stops her from being able to get angry at Raphi. Raphi is more cooperative with Vigne's plans, so they often work together, and they become good friends over time. Even so, Vigne still prefers having Gabriel with her. Raphi also says that when they hang out, they should form a combi, with Raphi as the boke (funny person) and Vigne as the tsukkomi (straight person).
- Satania: Since they are both demons in the human world, Vigne and Satania become interested in each other and become friends. Vigne's patience is often tested by Satania, whose pride and ego lead her to act in ways that surprise Vigne. After learning that Satania is as childish as Gabriel, Vigne takes on the role of the elder sister and tries to keep both of them from doing anything drastic, though at times she becomes drastic herself. Even so, Vigne cares for Satania like she does for her other friends and helps her whenever needed.
